Lots' of Saying.

Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first.
Mark Twain

I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it.
Mark Twain

It is no use saying, 'We are doing our best.' You have got to succeed in doing what is necessary.
Winston Churchill

Sometimes one creates a dynamic impression by saying something, and sometimes one creates as significant an impression by remaining silent.
Dalai Lama

It doesn't do good to open doors for someone who doesn't have the price to get in. If he has the price, he may not need the laws. There is no law saying the Negro has to live in Harlem or Watts.
Ronald Reagan

When we got into office, the thing that surprised me most was to find that things were just as bad as we'd been saying they were.
John F. Kennedy

I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying.
Oscar Wilde

Say there's a white kid who lives in a nice home, goes to an all-white school, and is pretty much having everything handed to him on a platter - for him to pick up a rap tape is incredible to me, because what that's saying is that he's living a fantasy life of rebellion.
Eminem

Let us beware of saying that death is the opposite of life. The living being is only a species of the dead, and a very rare species.
Friedrich Nietzsche

All we are saying is give peace a chance.
John Lennon

Who you are speaks so loudly I can't hear what you're saying.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Right now I think censorship is necessary; the things they're doing and saying in films right now just shouldn't be allowed. There's no dignity anymore and I think that's very important.
Mae West

But if you - if what - the reports are true, what they're saying is, is that as a consequence of us getting 30 million additional people health care, at the margins that's going to increase our costs, we knew that.
Barack Obama

Since I'm the president and Democrats have controlled the House and the Senate, it's understandable that people are saying, you know, 'What have you done?'
Barack Obama

FRUSTRATION SUCKS!

We all have to deal with frustration every once in a while in our lives. Even at a young age, we may already have experienced our own bouts on frustration. I can still remember mine as a kid, I would often get frustrated whenever I play Super Mario. Even if I had infinite lives, it’s still irritating to die repeatedly and not advance to the next world level.
Of course, school has its own way of serving us our usual dose of frustrating events. Countless nights of study and long hours spent on a project, only to fail or get below average marks. It can really be quite discouraging. But looking at the bright side, I believe that all those years of dealing with frustration gave me strength and the proper perspective to overcome my weaknesses.

Friends. Through God.

Christian Friends Accept Unconditionally

Proverbs 17:17
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. (NIV) We discover the best of friendships with brothers and sisters who know and accept our weaknesses and imperfections.
If we're easily offended or hold on to bitterness, we'll have a hard time making friends. No one is perfect. We all make mistakes now and then. If we take a truthful look at ourselves, we'll admit that we bear some of the blame when things go wrong in a friendship. A good friend is quick to ask forgiveness and ready to be forgiving.

SAD quotes

  • Usually when people are sad, they don’t do anything. They just cry over their condition. But when they get angry, they bring about a change.

  • Dying seems less sad than having lived too little.
  • However long the night, the dawn will break.
  • Better by far you should forget and smile than that you should remember and be sad.
  • They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
  • For all sad words of tongue and pen, the saddest are these, It might have been.
  • Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.
  • I had rather have a fool make me merry, than experience make me sad.
  • The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it.
  • Nobody really cares if you’re miserable, so you might as well be happy.
  • We enjoy warmth because we have been cold. We appreciate light because we have been in darkness. By the same token, we can experience joy because we have known sadness.

I Miss Grandma

A grandmother's job never ends. Many grandmothers in our society step in
to raise children when their mother is unavailable. Even in the best of
situations, having a grandmother to help with child raising and to
provide a softer touch is often a welcome intrusion. The other side
of the issue is that grandmothers have to realize when it is time
to step back and keep their mouths shut. If there is a healthy
father and mother, they are the ones with the final say in how
 to raise their children.
